Shipping

CONDITIONS

 

·         All prices are subject to change without notice.

·         Possession of our price sheet does not constitute an offer to sell and can be withdrawn anytime.

 

FREIGHT

 

·         All products will be shipped at the expense of the customer using UPS ground service. Customer may request alternate carriers, and Electric Life will try to accommodate such request. Any special pickup, delivery or fuel surcharges charged by the alternate carrier will be charged back to the customer. Electric Life further reserves the right to charge an additional handling charge for freight shipped by alternate carriers.

·         All shipping charges for warranty returns are for the account of the customer. Electric Life will not under any conditions cover such costs.

·         Air freight charges are the responsibility of the customer, Electric Life will not under any conditions cover such cost.

 

REFUSED SHIPMENTS

 

·         Customers will be charged a 25% handling fee on all refused shipments plus freight.

 

 

DISCREPANCY

 

·          Electric Life must be notified within five working days after receipt of shipment for any adjustments. After 5 days, any discrepancies will not be recognized as such.

 

RETURNS

 

·          Electric Life is under no obligation to accept merchandise returned for ‘new’. All sales are final. Any merchandise Electric Life accepts to be returned ‘new’ must have a Return Authorization Number (RA#) assigned. No returns will be accepted without a RA#. The RA# is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Any product returned after that date will be refused.

·          A list of merchandise that is to be returned must be shipped prepaid. Electric Life will not accept any returns marked freight collect.

·          All products returned in ‘new’ saleable condition within 30 days of the date of sale will be accepted, and a refund or credit will be issued subject to a 25% restocking fee. Any product return request after the 30 day period will be at the sole discretion of Electric Life. Should Electric Life choose to accept said return, an in-house store credit will be issued. Under no circumstance will a cash or credit card refund be allowed.

·          All Electrical items such as Motors, Switches, Switch Kits and any wiring harness are not returnable once a sale has been made. 

 

 

 

WARRANTY

 

·          Electric Life warrants to its customers each part of the regulator and motor assembly to be free of defects in workmanship. The regulator assembly comes with a limited lifetime warranty, except for the motor, which comes with a 36 month warranty. Switch kits and switch kit components are warranted to be free of defects for a period of 90 days from the date of sale. Electric Life’s liability is limited to the replacement of a part found defective in accordance to the manufacturer’s standards.

·          No freight or labor allowances will be made.

·          Electric Life will exchange the defective part and ship it directly to the vehicle owner at no charge.

·          Credit will not be issued until Electric Life verifies claim. This may take up to 45 days.

·          All warranties are to be shipped freight prepaid or shipment will be returned to customer.

·          Electric Life does not warranty any products that are damaged due to misuse, customer abuse, or improper modifications or installation.

·          Defective parts will be inspected by Electric Life; and credit, replacement, or denial will be issued at Electric Life’s discretion. 36 months after the customer’s invoice date the lifetime warranty is subject to a usage fee and customer agrees to pay to ELI a 25% plus 1% for each month thereafter, of the cost of the replacement item.

·          Any part being returned that is deemed defective must be accompanied with the original product invoice.
